Privacy Policy
How atmoflux handles the data you and your panels send us. Plain language, short, and updated when anything material changes.
What we collect
- Account information. The username, password hash, and (optionally) the email address you provide when you activate a panel or contact us.
- Sensor data. The readings your atmoflux panel sends — air quality, wind, weather, and the timestamps and panel identifiers that go with them.
- Operational logs. Standard server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp, user agent) used to keep the service secure and debug failures. These rotate on a short schedule.
- Support correspondence. The contents of contact-form submissions and any email you send us about a panel.
What we do with it
- Operate the data portal at app.atmoflux.com: charts, exports, multi-site failover, and per-user access control.
- Calibrate, troubleshoot, and improve the panels you've deployed.
- Reply to your support and quote requests.
- Send you product updates only if you've explicitly subscribed.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your sensor data, your account information, or your contact details to anyone.
- We do not embed third-party advertising or analytics trackers in the portal.
- We do not lock you in. You can export every reading from your panels as CSV or JSON at any time.
Where it lives
Sensor data and account information are stored on infrastructure operated by atmoflux on your behalf, in the region you select at activation. Backups are encrypted at rest. Network traffic between your panel, the portal, and our APIs is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+).
How long we keep it
Sensor readings are retained for the lifetime of your account by default, so historical analysis stays available. You can request earlier deletion of any time range. Account information is retained while your account is active and for up to 90 days after you close it, after which we delete it from primary systems and the next backup cycle.
Your choices
- Access & export. Pull your full dataset from the Export page in the portal at any time.
- Correction. Update your account details from the User page, or email us.
- Deletion. Email us to delete your account and your data.
- Unsubscribe. Every product-update email has a one-click unsubscribe.
